From the top online FMCG retail markets 4 will be European by 2023
According to IGD, calculating with a 20-percent annual growth, by 2023 the world’s top 10 online FMCG retail markets will produce a value of EUR 200 billion – and 4 of them will be European. The United Kingdom, France, Germany and Spain are expected to be the biggest markets in Europe. IGD forecasts that China’s growth rate will be 31 percent in the next 5 years, with online’s share in total FMCG retail sales jumping from 3.8 percent to 11.2 percent. //
