A program for promoting buffalo meat was launched
A program for the promotion of buffalo meat and the dishes made from it was launched. As the first station of the program a gastronomy day was organized for catering professionals in Ópusztaszer, on Wednesday.
Rácz András, Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture, responsible for Environmental Affairs stated at the event that although the buffalo meat is very delicious and valuable it is very less known.
The domestic buffalo meat is more fleshy, reddish, smoother than beef and has a high protein content, low fat content and is rich in minerals – he added. (MTI)
