What’s on the label?
Four from 5 Hungarian shoppers read the labels on grocery products and three quarters of them are influenced by the information they find there in deciding which product to put in their baskets. Most consumers check the labels of soft drinks – revealed a representative survey, conducted by eNet for Coca-Cola Hungary. The results show three typical shopper behaviours:
1. not really health-conscious consumers are interested in the compositions of products, but they don’t really pay attention to it and aren’t influenced by it when buying; 2. averagely health-conscious shoppers pay attention to product ingredients and are influenced by them when buying, but they don’t care about their calorie intake; 3. very health conscious Hungarians pay special attention to product ingredients and monitor their daily calorie and sugar intake. //
