Shoppers like mobile messaging apps
According to a recent study conducted by Kenshoo in the UK and France, 51 percent of messaging app users thinks reading messages is faster than verbal communication. 48 percent of the 2,000 respondents said that text messages are less annoying than talking on phone. One of the study’s most important findings is that personalised commercial messages grab the attention of shoppers. Kenshoo managing director Matt Vignieri told: messaging apps make it possible for brands to connect with shoppers directly.
