Magazine: Restaurant guests with special needs
Access4You is an organisation that describes, certifies and rates places that are accessible by guests with special needs, trying to make the lives of these people easier.

Balázs Berecz
founder
Access4You
Founder Balázs Berecz talked to our magazine about the programme. Who are special-need people? Disabled people bound to a wheelchair, young mothers with prams, blind and deaf people, etc.
Access4You created a searchable database with all the relevant information about a restaurant for these people. Access4You audits buildings and locations, and uses standardised criteria to evaluate these places, giving them basic, bronze, silver and gold certifications, sometimes also making recommendations how to improve them from an accessibility perspective.
