Coca-Cola HBC Magyarország is withdrawing its disposable plastic cups from the Hungarian market. The glasses typically used in coffee and other hot drink vending machines will be replaced by fully recyclable paper cups in the company’s approximately 1,000 hot drink vending machines nationwide, Coca-Cola HBC Magyarország Kft. said in a joint statement with Moholy-Nagy University of Arts (MOME) on Monday.

Coca-Cola reduces plastic consumption with recyclable paper cups
According to the information, vending machines will be placed mainly in the work environment, educational institutions, supermarket lobbies, transport hubs and healthcare facilities. They are planned to deliver beverages to consumers in the first half of 2022 in a glass made entirely of 100 percent recyclable paper. (MTI)
