Privát and CBA: the integration is the start of a new era
The introduction of a loyalty card system has been a major milestone for the Privát chain in recent years, and the number of card holders has exceeded 200,000 by now.

“As a regional player, we focus primarily on the counties of eastern Hungary, but we only have a smaller presence in the county seats”,
informs Zsolt Novák, commercial director of the Privát chain.
Stores that joined the Privát Card programme performed above average last year. Privát Max stores realised a 10% increase in sales, sales by Privát stores remained unchanged, while Cél-bolt stores saw a sales decline above 10%. Since 1 January 2025 the Privát network has been operating as a member of CBA, which means the integration of the two brands. The goal is to continue operating under a unified system nationwide. As part of this, IT developments have been also launched.
