The fifteen-year-old SuperShop program is still popular in the SPAR stores
Hungary’s largest customer loyalty program – the Super Shop Program – was launched in Hungary 15 years ago, on 15 April 2000. Today, no less than 2.6 million cardholders benefit from participation in the program.
Fifteen years ago, the Super Shop Program started with point collecting and redeeming, but over the past one and a half decade – thanks to the continuous development – different, customer loyalty marketing tools (loyalty and online coupons, reward points, mobile wallet service enabling mobile phone point collection and payment) have evolved into a complex system. The heart of the program is still the point collecting Super Shop card. The cardholders can use the colected points at nearly 800 locations across the country.
