This is Redy – Period underwear
A period accident gave birth to the dynamic Hungarian start-up This is Redy, which has launched a niche product in the hygiene market.
Dóra Molnár, the owner of the idea revealed that it took just 3 months to see the product would be a success. The start-up, which she launched together with Ádám Tasnádi, has reached a milestone, as the period underwear is now available in Rossmann stores nationwide.
“The availability of our products has improved tremendously by becoming available offline in a nationwide network. We expect further growth from this, and our goal now is to enter chains abroad” – This is Redy CEO Dóra Molnár added.
“Sustainability is important in this segment too, and in the Covid period women turned to products like This is Redy, which can be washed and reused during menstruation. We wanted to meet this new demand with our product selection. Currently we have two period underwear products in every store, and soon more can be purchased in our online shop. We are particularly pleased that the two owners will be selling these products exclusively in Rossmann stores” – told Hajnalka Horváth Tokaji, senior category manager of Rossmann. The two companies launched a joint campaign in the spring, asking men about menstruation.
