Experts say 60% of the meat we eat won’t come from animals by 2040
According to a new report published by British intellectual property specialists GovGrant, by 2040 more than half of the meat we eat will no longer come from farmed animals: it will take the form of vegan or lab-grown protein.

GovGrant predicts that by 2040 cultured meat will constitute 35% of the world’s meat consumption, and vegan meat replacements will represent 25%. This also means that there will be less room for traditional meat production. //
