In 2024 the Reál Group continued the structural transformation that had begun in previous years – the nationwide harmonisation of product selection, pricing and promotions.

By the end of last year major investments made it possible for us to operate in a more uniform and coordinated fashion, supported by standardised IT and information systems. We continue walking on this path in 2025, with the review and rationalisation of our supply chain on our to-do list. In 2024 we built new refrigerated and frozen warehouses at our logistics centre in Biatorbágy and our C+C store in Zalaegerszeg, and expanded our capacities in Nyíregyháza.

In the spirit of sustainability, we also invested large sums in solar panels during the year: at our C+C store in Pécs, logistics centre and offices in Biatorbágy, and the C+C store in Zalaegerszeg.

We believe it is important to support Reál franchise stores in a variety of ways: in 2024 this long-term development approach was given new impetus with the launch of the “Reál Franchise Partner of the Year” competition, which wishes to honour our partners who come up with an outstanding performance. Reál also keeps revamping the image of stores – both inside and outside

Community presence and social responsibility

Being a Hungarian retail chain, we give priority to building relationships with local communities and strengthening social cohesion in the towns and cities where Reál operates. In cooperation with our franchise partners, we are committed to supporting events such as the Keszi Half Marathon and local institutions and initiatives – from kindergartens to youth and retirement clubs. At the beginning of 2025 we launched a new digital platform: Reál’s official TikTok page builds on three principles – entertainment, education and inspiration. Another milestone in our digital development was the introduction of the Reál APP+ loyalty app, which we plan to develop into a comprehensive, nationwide loyalty programme from the second half of 2025.
