Profession.hu: the majority of domestic companies plan to raise wages next year
After the typically optimistic attitude in 2021, Hungarian companies expect a larger proportion of economic downturn next year this year, but half of the companies still expect growth in 2023.

Retention of the workforce is an important aspect
However, due to the increasingly uncertain economic situation, they often have to make decisions in the field of human resources after considering opposing effects. By 2023, 63 percent of the surveyed companies plan to increase wages, which is 3 percent less than the previous year, as indicated by the recent study of Profession.hu entitled HR Map 2022.
Profession.hu prepared its latest, comprehensive picture of the labor market situation, in the framework of which it examined the current challenges and the labor market expectations for next year. In the responses of the market players, the continuous change management of recent years is also reflected in the ideas for 2023: a somewhat more pessimistic vision emerges compared to last year, but at the same time, many are still optimistic.
