POP trade day
On 23 June a small but enthusiastic group of POPAI members visited the Artmacth POS factory in Timisoara.
Everything at the same place
Ágnes Péczely-Tóth, head of sales and marketing at Digitálisreklám.hu Kft.: “It was a superb field visit, for which I would like to thank Attila Kolonics, the organiser.” In the factory Artmatch co-owner Stefan Tudose welcomed the group and introduced the company. He talked about its history, the different production units and the matching colour-coded T-shirts worn by the 300 people who work in manufacturing. POPAI members were taken on a tour around the production facility.

From printing to full furnishing
Visitors had the chance to see the plotter, digital and offset printing machines. Shelf trays are made in the factory using really special technology, which works with the desired 3D image already when the 2D graphic design is made. Artmatch has its own POP/POS material designer team. Displays are made in all sizes, from many different materials, in both standard and tailor-made version. The diversity of Artmatch’s portfolio makes the company popular among partners in the regional market. For instance every Penny store in Romania was furnished from this factory, and they are also strategic suppliers of many FMCG brands. There were also lots of POP materials and tools made for the Hungarian market in the 7,500m² factory.
