A paradigm shift is needed in the role of the sales organizations
In recent years, the sales efficiency is often mentioned as the task that the sales organizations are facing, mostly without specifics. With the aim to have an instant picture of the present and forecast about the expectations the MindZ Business Design and the GfK Hungária carried out their first joint Sales Insight research on this topic.
The sales department has an important role in a the company's life both in terms of hierarchy and staff number. 75 percent of the surveyed companies have executive body and the sales department represent itself in 94 percent of these bodies. The sales manager is almost always reporting directly to the senior management (CEO, owner, regional director, etc…). In case of foreign-owned companies 71 percent of the respondents to submit a report to the foreign holders of at least a month. Thus it has a crucial role in the success of the company and in the achievement of corporate objectives.
