Household chemicals, cosmetics sales up
Sales of household chemicals and cosmetics in Hungary saw a year-on-year rise of 6%, reaching HUF 230 bln, in the period of January-August, Hungarian news agency MTI reported, citing data by market researcher Nielsen.
Nielsen data shows that sales in volume terms saw a 1% increase. The researcher said that turnover growth of shower gel, makeup, body cream, perfume, fabric softener, paper tissues and toilet cleaner was in the double digits.
