Retail sales in the euro area and the EU increased in February
Retail sales increased in February in the euro area and the European Union on a monthly and annual basis.
The European Union’s statistical office, Eurostat, said on Thursday that retail sales in the euro area and the European Union grew by 0.3 percent month-on-month in February, after a modest 0.2 percent in the euro area in January. However, a larger increase of 0.5 percent was recorded in the EU. (MTI)
