Nielsen: turnover of household chemicals and cosmetics increased in value, decreased in amount
Retail trade reached about 255 billion HUF in revenues of household chemicals and cosmetics in January-October this year, compared to last year's comparable period. This means plus 2 percent, in ten months comparision. Sales declined in quantity by 4 percent.
More than the average increase occurred in retail sales of products with the highest turnover; sales of dishwashing detergents increased by 6 percent, sales of tissues increased by 5 percent, sales of diapers increased by 4 percent, and sales of toilet papers, fabric softener, shower gels all increased by 3 percent in terms of value.
