The Hungarian consumer confidence has not been so high since 2009
The confidence index of Hungarian consumers reached another heights in the second quarter of 2017 with seventy points. In Europe, the average value is 85 points.
According to the online research conducted by Nielsen in sixty-three countries, the Hungarian result increased by 6 points, while the European has increased by 5 points. The global consumer confidence index is currently standing at 104 points, with a three-point growth.
Regarding the results of European countries in the second quarter, it turns out that there is a wide variety of consumer confidence in the region. Denmark leads with 115 points, while Greece is at 52 points, but the continent is still more optimistic, as the index has risen in 22 out of 33 countries. (Source: Nielsen)
