Germany: neither vegetarian, nor vegan McPlant Burger and McPlant Nuggets from McDonald’s
It has caused quite a stir in German social media that the McPlant burger and McPlant nuggets served in McDonald’s restaurant are suitable for neither vegetarians, nor vegans: because of the sauces used in their preparation, and due to the fact that they may come into contact with animal flesh when prepared on the same grill. Plus, with the launch of these products, vegan-friendly burgers “Veganburger TS” and “Fresh Vegan TS” are taken off the menu.
