The Nébih destroyed four tonnes of meat in a meat factory in Kaposvár
The National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) closed a meat factory in Kaposvár, because of its hygiene status. The authority ordered the destruction of 28 kinds of nearly 4 tonnes of meat products – Nébih told MTI on Thursday.
The process is in progress, several hundred thousand HUF fine is expected to be imposed in the case and the plant can only carry on its activities after repeated on-the-spot checks. When examining the origin and safe processing of the meat products, 3 batches were also withdrawn from circulation due to the lack of tracking. (MTI)
