Nébih: the proportion of Hungarian food has increased in stores

The share of domestic foods increased in stores
Kasza Gyula stated that according to Nébih’s survey, the share of products from domestic suppliers in stores was 70.5 percent in 2020 and 71.3 percent in 2021.
The Hungarian-owned retail chains performed best, with the agency measuring 82.2 percent of Coop’s offerings and 78.7 percent of CBA stores for Hungarian products. The proportion of Hungarian goods is typically higher in the product groups with lower added value, he said. (MTI)
