Nagy István: profit in the food industry almost doubled in five years

The profit of the Hungarian food industry has almost doubled in the past five years, and the high quality Hungarian raw material is an essential part of its success – Nagy István, Minister of Agriculture stressed at the conference of the Magyar Termék Nonprofit Kft. (Hungarian Product Nonprofit Ltd.) in Budapest.

According to the announcement, the Minister explained that the Hungarian food industry is a strategic sector of high economic importance: it is representing 5,000 enterprises, 33 business branches and 90,000 employees. (MTI)
