”I guarantee my work” – A selection of Aliona Frankl’s photographs
The exhibition of Aliona Frankl’s photographs can be viewed at the Hungarian Trade and Hospitality Museum until May 28.
The first recordings of the series were made in 1986. Due to social and economic changes and modernization, many traditional shops and workshops were forced to close even then, and the old tools and locations remained only in photographs. This process accelerated with the spread of malls and online stores. However, traditional shops can also satisfy other types of needs: they provide human proximity and attention, meeting points.
