What do Hungarians look for in the summer months? – this is how the Hungarian-owned supermarket chain sees it
In the summer, customer habits also change, as completely different products come to the fore with the arrival of warm weather. During the summer months, products that make leisure activities more enjoyable and gardening, barbecuing and household chores are the most popular among Hungarians. Based on last year’s sales data and this year’s customer and manufacturer forecasts, Euronics examined which product ranges are likely to experience exceptional demand this year as well.
During the summer months, the various fans, air coolers and mobile air conditioners are absolute star products. The upswing in sales starts already in the spring, but during the summer months these products are clearly the most sought after in the Euronics range. Between June and July 2022, the supermarket chain sold 90 times more products from standing fans than in April and May of the same year. At the same time, the demand for mobile air conditioners also increased. During the period, 40 times more mobile air conditioners were sold than in April-May. The third most popular category is column fans, the advantage of which is that they can fit in a small space, even in a corner of the room, but can still cool the entire room with it.
