What and how does Consumer Protection investigate advertising practice?
With a record number of people interested, the Self-Regulatory Advertising Board (ÖRT) organized its first joint workshop with experts from the Ministry of Justice (IM) regarding the activities of the consumer protection authority concerning advertising practice. In addition to the priority inspection topics, the previous inspection results and their experiences were also presented to the nearly one hundred professionals representing the ÖRT membership.

It is particularly important that in this area, in addition to the authorities, a professional organization such as the Self-Regulatory Advertising Board also helps its members, the professionals involved in the practice of advertising, to familiarize themselves with and observe good practices. – said the head of the Ministry of Justice responsible for the issue.
