‘Mini’ Auchan in China
Auchan has opened its first mini store in China. The 13m² shop is called Auchan Box, it sells 500 different products and it is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Auchan Box is fully digital: there are no shop assistants at all and payment is done via smartphone. What is more, wheels can be mounted on the store, so that it can be easily taken to another place if necessary. About 300 people shop in Auchan Box every day.
