OECD economic growth slowed in the first quarter
According to the website of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), GDP growth was 0.3 percent in the three months to the end of March, lower than the 1 percent expansion of three months earlier. The slowdown in growth was caused by the re-introduction of restrictive measures in several OECD countries due to another wave of the coronavirus pandemic, which slowed economic growth. (MTI)
