Crisis tax for multinational companies is a necessity and legal

Hungary offered a wide range of corprate tax relief since the change of the system in the early nineties, which even hindered Hungarian companies – however, throughout the years it became obvious that this income causes a severe deficit in the budget. This way, crisis taxes initiated by Viktor Orbán are grounded – Gyula Bunna, business advirsory firector of PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC) pointed out. The expert added that this new taxing system on the other hand, may lead to Hungary lose its number one competition-factor, the fact that it is cheap to launch companies here.
