Corporate responsibility and sustainability are topics that are increasingly becoming the focus of attention these days. And the burgeoning external regulations encourage companies to pay even more attention to corporate sustainability and responsibility than before. With an increasingly prepared professional background. At the end of October this year, on the evening of the CSR Hungary Summit 2023 conference held in the Gundel Palace, the Hungarian Corporate Responsibility Award, the CSR Hungary Award, took place for the 16th time.

Ahead of several European initiatives, the Hungarian Corporate Responsibility Award, i.e. the CSR Hungary Award, has been a recognized sustainability and responsibility award for domestic companies since 2007. This is the result of an independent domestic initiative, which since then annually evaluates Hungary’s most outstanding responsible and sustainable initiatives, projects and management systems in the business sector. Aligning local values with international professional needs. Over the years, the application structure has been supplemented with a voluntary trademark usage system, thus supporting the authentic corporate responsibility management systems operating in our country. On the day and evening of the CSR Hungary Summit 2023 conference, the 2023 prize winners were announced in a ceremonial setting.

“Be the excellence of business life! With this title, it was also possible to apply for the Hungarian Business Responsibility Award, the CSR Hungary Award, in 2023. The program has become an effective, recognized platform for sharing best practices, benchmarking and learning from each other. Companies and enterprises are not in an easy situation today! Micro- and macroeconomic turbulences, the effects of crises, ever-increasing social demands, as well as more and more recent external regulations are pushing the limits of business life to the limit. Communicating the need for sustainable investments is vital to building an increasingly transparent, flexible and profitable future business. And the consumer is increasingly curious about the entire history of the product or service he/she is buying, i.e. the entire supply chain…”

– pointed out Júlia Takács, CSR Hungary’s founder and managing director. He added that the Hungarian Corporate Responsibility Award, i.e. the CSR Hungary Award, has been recognizing companies and organizations that have a significant impact on business, society and the environment for 16 years.
