Szentkirályi Magyarország’s deposit-fee PET bottles are already on store shelves
Szentkirályi Hungary was one of the first to start the production and sale of drink packaging according to the DRS (Deposit Return System), i.e. the mandatory redemption system. How did you get here? The company also provides an answer to this.
Szentkirályi Hungary has been a committed supporter of the circular economy and sustainable corporate operations for many years. The proven most effective method for recycling beverage packaging is the introduction of a deposit return system, which, based on international experience, can make the industry almost completely waste-free in a few years. For this very reason, the group of companies has long advocated the introduction of the domestic deposit fee system and is happy to report that, well before the end of the statutory grace period until July 1, 2024, it already started delivering its products with returnable packaging to stores at the beginning of April.
