Magazine: More stores can now use the SuperStore logo!
Trade magazin organised the SuperStore competition in 2019 too.
It was an important criterion in the store design concept competition that retailers operating an online shop only weren’t eligible for participation; as for the profile of shops, all categories were allowed to enter. 30 June 2019 was the deadline for entries and 29 stores sent in their concepts. All of the entries were exhibited between 16 and 20 September 2019 at the Business Days conference in Tapolca, where the 750 participants had the opportunity to see them. After the jury of experts had come to a decision, the results were ceremonially announced on 19 September 2019 at the conference’s gala dinner. Stores that scored the most points in the evaluation also received the Store of the Year Hungary 2019 prize. This year was the first that special awards were given too, because the jury found that some of the entries were exemplary in their own categories. On the competition’s Facebook page visitors cast almost 9,000 votes. Winners can use the title as long as they want to, but only with the indication of the year when they won.
