The Media Union Foundation’s national campaign against food waste has ended
The “Live Fully!”, campaign launched last August, ended in February. It is a nationwide social campaign aimed at raising awareness of food waste and, in the long run, reducing waste. In recent months, the issue of food waste has been addressed in more than half a thousand articles and interviews, and the value of the surfaces offered by the media has exceeded 1.2 billion HUF at list prices.
The board of trustees of the Media Union Foundation, formed by Schmidt Mária, Csányi Sándor, Novák Péter, Rudolf Péter and Somody Imre, chose the reduction of food waste as the theme of the national social campaign for 2020.
