A farmer wanted to sell Polish apples as Hungarian apples
A farmer in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county wanted to sell Polish apples as Hungarian apples – the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) told MTI.
The tax officers of the Electronic Road Freight Control System (ekáer) found the 48 tonnes of uncertain origin apples when they checked a site in Érpatak. The NAV assumes that the counterfeiters wanted to put Hungarian product labels on the Polish fruits. (MTI)
