Research for food safety
Reducing food-related illnesses and deepening the knowledge of the population’s food chain security is the goal of the EU research project that was launched with the participation of the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) – agrarszektor.hu wrote. Among other things, they develop games and applications for consumers, but they also plan to develop kitchen utensils.
The National Food Chain Safety Agency participated in the Horizon 2020 Research and Development and Innovation Framework Program of the European Union as a member of an international consortium. A 100-percent EU-funded 5-year research project that was launched in May, aims to deepen the knowledge of food chain security, improve its risk appraisal, and improve household practices related to the purchase, storage and the consumption of food.
