KSH: the neumber of employees remains over 4.5 million people
The average number of employees in the August-October period was 4 million 520 thousand, 18 thousand more than a year before. The employment rate of 15-64 year-olds rose to 70.3 percent over the previous three-month period – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Wednesday.
The number of employed has been over 4.5 million since spring (March-May).
The number of those employed in the primary labor market increased by 30 thousand compared to the same period of last year, while the number of self-employed persons decreased by 22 thousand to 111 thousand. The number of employees working abroad increased by 11,000 to 119,000. (MTI)
