KSH: agricultural purchasing prices have continued to rise
In May, due to a 0.9 percent decline in plant products prices and a 15.0 percent increase in live animal and animal products, the agricultural purchasing prices increased by 4.5 percent, compared to a year before, after the 4.1 percent growth of April and 1. percent growth in March – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Wednesday.
Prior to March, prices fell for seven months, compared to a year before.
In May, the price increase of live animals and animal products acclerated by 0.4 percentage points, compared to April, while the annual price decrease of the crop and horticultural product slowed down by 0.3 percentage points. (MTI)
