KSH: in May, the average gross salary was 495,900 HUF
The gross average earnings of part-time employees was HUF 495,900, 14.9 percent higher than a year earlier, and the net average earnings, calculated taking into account discounts, rose by 15.6 percent to HUF 342,000, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) announced on Monday.
The regular gross average earnings, calculated without premiums, bonuses, and one-month special benefits, can be estimated at HUF 461,700, 14.3 percent higher than last May. The increase in the average wage was primarily due to the wage increases already partially scheduled in advance, as well as the increase in the minimum wage and the guaranteed minimum wage, the KSH added.
