KSH: foreign trade turnover picked up in February
The euro-denominated value of exports rose 8.0 percent in February after a 0.9 percent rise in January.
Imports also picked up, exceeding 7.4 percent from a year earlier after a 3.9 percent rise in January. The trade surplus was 979 million euros, 112 million euros more than in last February – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced its first estimate on Friday.
In February, the value of exports was 7.8 billion euros, (2419 billion HUF) and the value of imports was 6.8 billion euros (2115 billion HUF). (MTI)
