Heroes of our time
On 29 March the HoReCa and Event Chapter of the Hungarian Marketing Association (MMSZ) hosted a marketing communication workshop at the METRO Gastro Academy.

MMSZ honorary president László Hovánszky introduced the HoReCa and Event Chapter, which was founded 3 years ago. Rudolf Semsei, the owner of Budapest Party Service and VakVarjú restaurants gave a presentation about how to turn a restaurant into a “love brand”. Ákos Bősze, business development executive of METRO spoke about the latest trends in the restaurant business. Popular Italian chef and restaurant owner Gianni Annoni analysed the problems in restaurant staff training in Hungary. METRO’s head of marketing Ákos Taferner and head of digital performance Csaba Szigeti gave an insight into the working of the company’s own digital services system for the HoReCa sector, called DISH.
The day’s programme ended with a roundtable discussion moderated by the HoReCa and Event Chapter’s president, Attila Kaszás; the participants were Gianni Annoni (Trattoria Pomo d’Oro), Ágnes Gózon (Bab Kávézó) and István Makai (Cactus Juice Gastro Pub).
