The KMÉ trademark confirms the excellent quality of Auchan’s pasta
Auchan and Izsáki Házítészta Kft. have been collaborating for more than 20 years, and now their joint success is the KMÉ-certified eight-egg vermicelli.
Twenty years of partnership and recognized quality
Quality and reliability have always been of utmost importance to Auchan, especially when it comes to its private label products. It is no coincidence that Auchan’s eight-egg vermicelli has been awarded the Excellent Quality Food (KMÉ) certification, ensuring outstanding quality for consumers. Auchan has been present in Hungary since 1998, continuously developing its product range to meet all customer needs. Currently, the company operates 19 hypermarkets, 5 superstores, and a rapidly expanding e-commerce sector. Obtaining the KMÉ certification is not only a recognition for Auchan but also a reassurance for consumers that they can fully trust the quality of its private label products.
KMÉ certification: quality and recognition
Acquiring the Excellent Quality Food certification requires meeting strict criteria. Products undergo sensory, analytical, and microbiological tests to ensure consistent and outstanding quality. Auchan’s private label eight-egg vermicelli met all requirements, earning the prestigious certification.
More than 20 years of partnership with Izsáki Házitészta Kft.
One of the keys to Auchan’s success lies in its strong and reliable supplier relationships. Auchan has been working with Izsáki Házitészta Kft. for over two decades, jointly developing high-quality pasta products over the years. “We started our collaboration with brand products, and six years ago, we also began producing Auchan Nívó private label products,” said Zsolt Juhász, Managing Director of Izsáki Házitészta Kft.
Izsáki Házitészta Kft. is a family-run business with deep roots in pasta production. The founder, Mrs. Sándor Juhász, has been involved in pasta manufacturing since the age of 16, passing on decades of expertise to the next generation. “Quality, precision, and accuracy have always been our top priorities,” she added.
The significance of obtaining the certification
The KMÉ certification not only marks the joint success of Auchan and Izsáki Házitészta Kft. but also represents a significant milestone in the Hungarian food industry. “This is a highly rigorous certification system that cannot be easily obtained. Every step of production and distribution must comply with the strictest requirements,” emphasized Zsolt Juhász.
The demand for high-quality food products is growing, and consumers are making increasingly conscious purchasing decisions. The KMÉ certification guarantees that they are getting truly premium-quality products.
The collaboration between Auchan and Izsáki Házitészta Kft. has resulted in a KMÉ-certified, officially recognized premium-quality pasta that deserves a place in every Hungarian household kitchen.
