The world’s most famous three-star Japanese sushi restaurant has been removed from the Michelin catalog
The world’s most famous three-star sushi showroom, which Barack Obama and Katy Perry have previously visited, has been removed from the Michelin Catalog.
The problem was not with the quality of the restaurant, but with the fact that it was no longer open to the public and thus did not meet the requirements of the restaurant catalog. “It has come to our attention that Sukiyabashi Giro is no longer accepting public bookings, which is why we are out of interest,” a spokesman for the Michelin Catalog said Tuesday during a presentation of the latest Tokyo edition of the restaurant guide. As he added, Michelin’s policy is to deal only with restaurants that anyone can go to if they want to eat. (MTI)
