Sushi, ice cream and blood products will also be transported by air in Israel during testing of a system to control the traffic of commercial and medical drones, the news portal of the English-language Israeli newspaper The Jerusalem Post wrote on Tuesday.

Ice cream and sushi come from the air

Similar to the air corridors of air traffic control, the third phase of testing a centrally controlled pioneering system for drone transport is underway from the planned eight, examining the delivery of products ordered by telephone applications in and around Tel Aviv.

Five transport companies are participating in the testing, which is carried out by the National Drone Initiative, the organization that coordinates and regulates drone transport. (Shiri Zsuzsa, MTI)
