The Hungarian large corporate sector is in its infancy in the implementation of sustainability, but at least huge differences can be observed between the companies – the K&H corporate growth index research points out the current situation. One in seven companies already has a sustainability strategy, while nearly two-thirds of them do not yet address the issue.

Huge differences can be observed between the actors of the Hungarian business community in how they incorporate the principle of sustainability into the operation of their company. The largest companies have not only started, but have also taken serious steps to achieve carbon-neutral operation: according to the Towards Net Zero research conducted by the Hungarian Business Council for Sustainable Development (BCSDH) and with the professional help of Deloitte, 31 percent of them already have net emissions targets.
