Less waste: more profit
And the cook is happy – we can add to what is said in the title! In the spirit of sustainability, new website munch.hu seeks to sell those dishes at reduced prices, which are likely to remain unsold by restaurants at the end of the day. Restaurants can join the platform to decrease their financial loss and at the same time to build their eco-friendly brand, while the operators of the website get a certain percentage from the sales revenue. Restaurants don’t have to pay to join, but munch.hu wants them to reduce dish prices by minimum 50 percent.
