A growth in Christmas turnover is expected in retail
Retail sales may exceed last year’s 1000 billion HUF turnover by 3-4 percent in December this year – Vámos György, secretary general of the National Trade Association (OKSZ) told at the HG Media Trade conference on Thursday.
The total turnover of this year’s trade will exceed 10,000 billion HUF in 2017, after the 9600 billion HUF of last year. According to the secretary general of OKSZ, it will be around 10,300 billion HUF.
At the conference, Marczinkó Zoltán, Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of National Economy (NGM), recalled that the growth of retail sales in Hungary is lasting for 51 months. (MTI)
