The owners of small shops will benefit from Sunday store closure
The mandatory Sunday rest day will provide new jobs in trade. The regulation brought a positive turn to small shops – the Napi Gazdaság wrote in its Wednesday edition.
Pichler József the Chairman of the Baranya County Traders Association told the newspaper that, due to the mandatory Sunday rest day the attendance in supermarkets on Saturdays increased by many times, while the winners of the Sunday store closure will be the family-run businesses typically. (MTI)
