Nébih found deficiencies in markings on ketchups
Minor or major labeling deficiencies have been found by the National Food Chain Safety Authority (Nébih) on ketchups, while the products have passed the tests in terms of food safety and quality – Nébih told MTI.
38 ketchups were inspected by agency experts, 19 of which were made with preservatives and 19 without preservatives.
In 25 cases, official proceedings were initiated for the products: food business operators were warned for minor marking errors, and for food inspection fines for serious labeling errors totaling around 300,000 HUF. (MTI)
