Retail sales expanded significantly in the Czech Republic
In March 2015, retail sales increased significantly in the Czech Republic, by 5.9 percent on an annual basis. The increase in February was 6.3 percent.
The growth rate of the first three months was 6 percent, which is the largest annual level quarterly increase since 2008 – the Czech Statistical Office (CSÚ) announced on Wednesday in Prague.
“Revenues increased at all the important product groups, except at clothing and footwear, where the downward trend of previous months continued.” – CSÚ’s statement revealed. (Kokes János, MTI)
