Consumer sentiment improved in the United States
Consumer confidence improved in the United States in February. The US households are more hopeful to the current and prospective situation of the economy – according to the regular monthly survey of the University of Michigan, whose preliminary results were published on Friday.
The consumer sentiment index has risen to 99.9 points from the 95.7 points of January. It is the second highest level since 2004. Analysts expected a slight deterioration in the consumer sentiment index, they expected 95.5 points. (MTI)
