Consumer confidence improved in May in the euro area and in the EU
Consumer confidence has improved in the eurozone and the European Union in May, the European Commission said in a report released on Friday.
In the eurozone, the consumer confidence index rose by 3 points, to minus 5.1 points, to its highest level since November 2018.
The index rose for the fourth consecutive month in May, although in several countries strict measures take place to curb the coronavirus pandemic. (MTI)
